André’s experience within the Construction, Manufacturing and Renewable Energy industries has seen him involved in the construction, operation and maintenance of some of New Zealand’s major generating assets. This includes a direct involvement in the construction and commissioning of over 20% of the countries installed wind turbine fleet from tender to hand over. Time in these industries provides him with an in-depth understanding of the balance between keeping workers safe and still completing the work efficiently
